NORDIQ is built around a simple idea: know the place, know the people travelling and take responsibility for the details in between.
The people behind the company matter.
John and Gert Olsson started TrollAdventure in 2019. Both work as firefighters in Norway, and that background shaped the way the company developed: prepare properly, stay calm when plans change, communicate clearly and look after the people in the group.
NORDIQ Travel is the private travel brand of Troll Group AS (org. no. 998198356), the company behind TrollAdventure. TrollAdventure runs our shared group hikes. NORDIQ carries the same approach into private days, tailor-made journeys and partnerships with travel advisors. We are not trying to make travel feel operational. Good preparation should make the journey feel easier.
Treat every guest the way we would want to be treated ourselves.
That is still the standard, whether the day is a private fjord trip, a mountain hike, a corporate programme or a multi-day itinerary through Norway.

Our guiding network is built around people from the emergency services. That does not make the experience formal. It means the people leading the day are used to responsibility, clear communication and making sensible decisions when conditions change.

Torjuss and Jonas are two of the people who have guided groups on the Preikestolen route. The photograph is not a campaign image. It is the kind of ordinary working day that says more about NORDIQ than staged travel photography ever could.
