TOP 5 HIKES

Top 5 hikes in Norway: five very different mountain days.

Start with the Lysefjord classics, add the quieter Frafjord option and continue into Hardanger when the journey has time for it.

Choose the hike for the people, not the photograph.

Preikestolen, Kjerag, Flørli, Månafossen and Trolltunga are often placed in the same bucket because they are famous outdoor destinations. In practice they ask very different things from the traveller. The right choice depends on fitness, available time, season, transport and what the rest of the journey looks like.

NORDIQ uses the mountain day as part of the itinerary rather than forcing the itinerary around a checklist of famous names.

GUIDED BY PEOPLE USED TO RESPONSIBILITY

Conditions decide more than the brochure does.

NORDIQ grows out of TrollAdventure and a first-responder guiding culture. Firefighters, police and medical backgrounds shape the practical way we prepare, communicate and adjust the day when weather, surface conditions, pace or daylight changes.

That does not make the journey formal. It means there is someone local taking the decisions seriously while the guest gets to concentrate on the experience.

Want us to connect the hikes into a journey that makes sense?

Tell us the dates, who is travelling and how active you want the trip to be. We will build the Norwegian side around that.
