Private Trail Run to Preikestolen at Sunset
The same route, run at a different pace and time of day.
A mountain day planned around pace and fading light
Not every guest wants to walk the trail to Preikestolen — some want to run it. Moving faster changes the planning: less margin for the wrong pace, the wrong clothing or a late turnaround, and a different relationship with daylight.
We looked at recent running and mountain experience, weather and trail surface, and worked out a turnaround time that kept the group moving safely through to the viewpoint and back.
The aim was not simply to cover the standard route faster. It was to build a mountain day for guests who genuinely enjoy moving at that pace, with the light changing around them as the sun went down.

Norway, stays with you.
It’s always a good day when the mountain gets to work a little harder than usual — thank you for bringing the pace and letting us handle the planning around it.
We hope the light on the way down was worth the effort on the way up.
