OUR TEAM
A small team. Direct responsibility.
The people planning the journey stay close to the people delivering it. That is deliberate.
You should know who is responsible for your journey in Norway.
NORDIQ grew out of years of guiding through TrollAdventure. We know the places because we have walked the trails, driven the roads, worked with the local suppliers and adjusted real days when weather or timing changed.
We have kept the company deliberately close to delivery. For private guests, that means fewer hand-offs. For travel advisors and partners, it means the person answering the brief understands what has to happen on the ground.
That distance between planning and delivery matters when the client expects more than a standard package.
OWNER / GENERAL MANAGERGert A Olsson
Gert stays close to operations, the guides and the practical side of each journey. His firefighter background is reflected in the way NORDIQ prepares, communicates and handles changing conditions: calmly, directly and without unnecessary drama.

OWNER / GUIDEJohn Steinar Olsson
John is the direct contact for travel advisors, partners and new enquiries. He turns the brief into something that can actually be delivered in Norway, keeps communication clear and makes sure the Norwegian side has an owner from the start.
GUIDEJonas
Jonas is part of the guiding team behind our mountain and fjord experiences. His role is not simply to follow a route, but to read the group, the pace and the conditions and help make the day work for the people who are actually there.
GUIDEAndreas
Andreas helps turn the itinerary into a good day on the ground. That means attention to timing, people and changing conditions rather than treating every group as if it should move through Norway in exactly the same way.
Useful experience, not a marketing costume.
Fire, police and medical services are part of our guiding culture. We do not turn that into theatre for guests. The value is practical: preparation, clear communication, calm judgement and a willingness to take responsibility when the plan needs to change.
In Norway, weather, roads, ferries, trail conditions and the pace of the group can all affect a day. The aim is not to make travel feel operational. Good preparation should make it feel easier.
Tell us who is travelling.
Private travellers, groups, companies or travel partners: give us the people, the timing and what matters. We will take it from there. Travel professionals can also start with Travel Advisors & DMC.
