Guided Small-Group Hike to Kjerag and Kjeragbolten for Korean Groups
A guided small-group hike to Kjeragbolten, high above Lysefjord.
Long climbs, open granite and no pressure at the boulder
Small groups from South Korea joined us for the hike to Kjerag, high above Lysefjord — one of the more demanding routes we guide in the region.
The route includes long climbs, open granite and exposed sections, so we kept the groups small enough for the guide to work closely with everyone on the trail, sharing local knowledge and adjusting support where people needed more time or confidence.
At Kjeragbolten, some guests stepped out onto the boulder quickly, others took longer. There is no need to force the moment — the guide’s job is to manage the route and let each person make their own decision.

Norway, stays with you.
Thank you for choosing Kjerag as part of your time in Norway. We hope the granite, the climb and the view from Kjeragbolten stayed with the group the way it usually does.
It was a pleasure guiding you — and we would love to help with the next group’s Norway day.
A Taste of Norway on the Granite
Near Kjeragbolten, with Lysefjord far below, the guides handed round Kvikk Lunsj — the chocolate bar that goes into every Norwegian backpack before a climb. A short stop on the granite, a quick bar, then on to the boulder.
Greetings from Norway to our friends in South Korea. 🇰🇷/🇳🇴
